Keith J. Benes is Senior Adviser for Pipelines and Infrastructure Permitting at Goldwyn Global Strategies. LLC, an international energy consulting firm. Keith has over a decade of experience in managing, conducting, and litigating complex permitting processes at all levels of government. Mr. Benes served as a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Department of State (2005-2014) where he managed interagency consultations, congressional relations, and external stakeholder engagement on some of the highest profile and intensely scrutinized environmental reviews of the past decade, including the Keystone XL pipeline review. Mr. Benes writes on energy policy and climate change topics including investor attitudes on energy investments, treatment of energy goods and services in trade agreements, and development of U.S. climate change law and policy.
Lana Ekimoff is Senior Advisor for Europe and Eurasia. Ms. Ekimoff was Director of the Office of Russian and Eurasian Affairs in the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy. She oversaw the negotiation, development, and implementation of cooperative programs in oil and gas investment and regulatory regimes, energy efficiency, and renewable energy for the U.S.-Russia Energy Working Group, the U.S.-Ukraine Energy Working Group, and the U.S.-Kazakhstan Energy Partnership.
David Mack is Senior Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa. Mr. Mack is a Scholar at The Middle East Institute, a Washington-based educational organization, and has served as Vice President and Acting President of MEI. For over thirty years, he served in various positions in the U.S. Foreign Service and held diplomatic assignments in Iraq, Jerusalem, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. Mr. Mack's government posts include U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs.
Andrew Ware is Senior Advisor for LNG and Natural Gas Markets. Mr. Ware brings 18 years of experience in energy policy and research. He served as a Director of Strategic Projects and Communciations for Cheniere Energy, where he worked closely on LNG regulatory policy and permitting for Sabine Pass Liquefaction, the first LNG export project in the Lower 48. He previously was a reporter and editor at Energy Intelligence Group covering natural gas market and industry developments. Mr. Ware holds a MBA from the University of Colorado and a BA in International Relations from the College of William and Mary.
Andrea Clabough is an Associate at Goldwyn Global Strategies, LLC. Andrea previously worked as a Research Assistant for Washington Policy and Analysis, Inc., a consulting firm focusing on international dimensions of energy security. Andrea completed her Master’s degree in Security Studies at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service where she concentrated in International Security. Andrea is from Knoxville, TN, and earned her Bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University in Political Science and History.
